Pregame note of note: The Nets had used the same starting five in each of their first 14 games, which marked the longest streak of games to begin a season that the Nets have used the same starters since 2002-03 (16 straight: Jason Kidd, Kerry Kittles, Richard Jefferson, Kenyon Martin and Dikembe Mutombo). The Nets used 25 different starting lineups last season. The streak ended when Jarrett Allen missed Monday’s loss in Minnesota due to illness.
